The Municipality of The Hague and The Hague Marketing Bureau launched the new campaign “Seaside Celebration”, commemorating the 200th anniversary of The Hague’s beach resort Scheveningen.

The third Tuesday in September is approaching fast and The Hague prepares for a true national feast. In Holland’s only city on the sea the festivities won’t be limited to that one day with the royal couple in the Glass Carriage. There will be as many as four joyful days with plenty of activities for young and old.
49 foreign companies
invested in The Hague in 2016
In 2016, a total of 49 foreign companies invested in The Hague. Theyeither opened a new office or expanded their business in the city. Over the next threeyears, these companies are expected to create 588 extra jobs for the city.
The Hague up in
The Hague is now third most visited congress destination in The Netherlands moving up to join Amsterdam and Rotterdam at the very top, according to the 2015 ICCA world city rankings. This ascent reflects that the new strategy for The Hague as a business event destination, in motion since 2015, has delivered excellent results.
